Research:

My research interests are in development and application of the photocatalytic techniques, principally in environmental problems, generated by persistent – recalcitrant pollutants or substances difficult to treat with traditional water treatment plants, study, characterization and development of potential catalysts for photocatalytic processes, couple photocatalysis with other process to improve the mineralization of pollutants, solar detoxification, and alternative energy source (solar) in photocatalysis.

Thesis of M.S. (in progress): Comparative study of the efficiency of different geometries of solar collectors used in photocatalysis, Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA, www.imta.mx), Advisor: Erick Bandala, Jiutepec, Morelos, México.
